Berg River ResortThe Berg River Resort is a small, family-orientated resort for people who are interested in the simple things in life. Choose between the family chalets or waterfront campsites, perfect for enjoying the peaceful view of the water and the Boland Mountains that change colour at sunset. We look foreward to seeing you.

Bookings for the chalets are essential all the time whilst the bookings for the camping sites are only needed during peak seasons otherwise it works on a first come first serve basis.

The resort is situated amoung vineyards and citrus orchards. Beneath large, shady trees, there are approximately 150 spacious, partially grassed stands for tents or caravans. Most of the stands are equipped with 15 amp power outlets.

There are 15 self-catering, fully equipped, family chalets for hire, which can cater for 2, 4 or 6 people. These range from a bachelor-style chalet to ones with two bedrooms.

This is the ideal setting for canoeing and swimming and many hours of relaxation can be spent drifting lazily on a huge tube or lilo. Additional facilities include a 3.5m deep swimming pool, kiddies pool and a waterslide. The children love the tractor rides, the trampoline and the jungle gym. There is a spacious lawn for ball games; volleyball net is always up for the energetic players.
