Ridgeback Wines |
 Surrounded by the rugged magnificence of the Paarl Mountains. The farm extends over an area of 65 hectares. Every effort has been made to retain the rich heritage of the countryside maintaining the Proteas and fynbos which flourish in the region.
The vineyards are amongst the finest in the Cape where every effort is made to enhance the quality of the grape. The winery, overlooking a small dam, has an abundance of water fowl which blend into the countryside and creates a restful ambience.
The wine tasting facility, overlooking a small dam with 25 species of waterfowl provides a tranquil setting in landscaped gardens. From the tasting room enjoy a hike in the countryside over a designated trail (approx 2 hours) where one can enjoy the countryside and sample the wines after a hard walk.

Scali Wines |
 The grapes from Scali are hand harvested from selected low yielding vines after which the bunches are personally sorted by hand according to the centuries old tradition.
Only ripe fruit is crushed, fermented in open "kuipe" and gently pressed in a basket press. These carefully made wines are then matured in 225 litre French and American oak barrels and is left unfiltered.
Meticulous attention to detail symbolises their passion for, and respect of tradition in the art of winemaking. We work closely with nature and we do this with a whole hearted passion, while striving towards creating the ultimate wine.

Under Oaks |
Dating back to 1695 and the granting of farms in freehold Under Oaks is a farm deeply steeped in history and plenty of tradition. Our aim is to create a boutique-style wine farm and to produce small quantities of top quality wines providing meticulous personal service and attention to detail.
The farm has a very special ambience with restored white-washed buildings and a panoramic view of the Drakenstein Mountains.
Wine tastings and sales are held from Tuesdays to Sundays between 11am and 4pm. With an informal and laid-back approach we will guide you through our range of 6 single varietal award winning wines.
The old rustic "jonkmanshuis"doubles as a pizzeria and art gallery with works by Portchie and Frans Groenewald. Both artists are unique and produce vibrantly bright and whimsical works that reflect their own humour and intelligence.
